Mobile banking users felt a deep tension between security and ease of use — they wanted both, but perceived them as mutually exclusive. Complex authentication flows reinforced this anxiety.
My Role
Designed the full product: biometric auth flows, dashboard, transfer and payment screens, transaction history, and the design system across Android and iOS.
What I Found
Survey of 200 mobile banking users: 68% said they'd abandon a transfer if the process felt 'too complicated'
Biometric login scored highest in trust — users associated fingerprint/face with security rather than risk
The Solution
Built 'PayEasy' around biometric-first authentication, a single-glance dashboard, and scan-to-pay. Green UI accents signal financial growth and safety. Encrypted transactions wrapped in an interface that feels effortless.
