Problem & Context

The Challenge

Users struggled to explore a large product catalogue efficiently and lacked confidence making purchase decisions due to poor visual hierarchy, weak filtering, and unclear product details.

02
Role & Responsibilities

My Role

Designed the full IA, navigation system, product catalogue, filtering UX, product detail pages, and design system. Focused on reducing drop-off at the detail page stage.

Research & Insights

What I Found

01

Heatmap analysis and user interviews with 6 online furniture shoppers revealed that 70% of drop-offs happened at the product detail page — not enough imagery, unclear dimensions, and no room context

04
Final Solution & Impact

The Solution

Redesigned with a visual-first approach: multiple high-quality product images, contextual room photos, clear dimension specs, and guided 'Add to Cart' flow. A structured filtering system accelerated product discovery.

Visually-led product discovery

Improved filtering system

Higher detail page engagement
